Janina Grigore is a London based jewellery designer who creates unique and high quality jewels for women who want to feel special, spoilt and uplifted.
The jewellery designer grew up in Eastern Europe, Romania, and after having taught secondary school children in rural Moldavia for a few years, she relocated to London, UK.
Janina Grigore believes jewellery is an art form and a beautiful way of expressing one's personality, a piece should tell a story and many of her jewels are often created around a certain theme, inspired by personal travels, historical places or foreign cultures.
Janina has created two collections : Euphoria is a romantic and feminine debut collection which combines semi precious stones, pearls , oxidised sterling silver and intricate wire wrapping techniques.
Bold, richly coloured and sophisticated, Amaryllis is formed of hand embroidered and bead woven pieces,using a wide variety of materials, all made in her London studio.
Attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship is of great importance throughout the creation process!
